It’s You (from Time For Us – 2019)
I discover GFriend’s second album fairly hit-or-miss, and this sadly falls into the latter class. The track is simply not that attention-grabbing, trudging alongside an uneventful mid-tempo groove that blends muted synths with entice percussion. It’s not what I count on (or need) from GFriend in any respect, making this a simple skip and considered one of my least favourite songs from their catalog. Other than their always-gorgeous vocals, there’s simply nothing to seize onto right here. It’s the pure definition of album filler.
