Gone With The Wind (from LOL – 2016)
With a cinematic title like Gone With The Wind, you simply know that is going to be good! Certainly, it’s considered one of my highlights from the LOL album. The track opens with a peppy power however rapidly deepens into one thing extra sturdy and spectacular. I really like the tempo change within the refrain. It jogs my memory of one thing Sweetune would have written for Infinite’s Be Again album. It has a symphonic edge whereas nonetheless remaining firmly throughout the pop realm. Then, we get a crunchy electro breakdown that largely takes the place of a second verse. The structural decisions are continually fascinating and dramatic. Nevertheless, the spotlight could be Wind‘s vocal-and-guitar bridge that leads right into a knockout finale.
