2026 Index: Dec 28 – Jan 3 // Jan 4 – Jan 10 // Jan 11 – Jan 17 // Jan 18 – Jan 24 // Jan 25 – Jan 31 // Feb 1 – Feb 7 // Feb 8 – Feb 14 // Feb 15 – Feb 21 // Feb 22 – Feb 28 // Mar 1 – Mar 7

aoen – Immediate Crush

I wrote about this right here. I believed it was fairly good.

Chanmina – Let You Go (ft. INI’s Hiroto)

This drags, sadly.

CMDM – Leash

The newest in a really lengthy line to meld idol pop with rock. It’s stable, if not notably memorable.

GNJB – Nihilism Prism

As at all times, the music is attention-grabbing and overstuffed.

Hello-Fi Un!corn – Hungry Coronary heart

This performs with totally different textures than their regular stuff. The refrain is stable however the power shifts an excessive amount of for my style.

Hyde – Fading Out

Very pensive, atmospheric and sluggish.

IMP. – Stranger

I bear in mind when I was so enthusiastic about this group. There’s nothing dangerous about this tune, but it surely doesn’t excite me in any method.

JO1 – Breezy Love

It’s certainly breezy! At the least the refrain ignites some sparks.

MAPA – Keep Away Labyrinth

A number of affected, high-pitched speaking. The vocal concord within the refrain is type of attention-grabbing, although.

Miyase Ryubi – Flower Chord

Candy, however fairly throwaway.

#mooove – Anti Vacuumer

Absolute insanity. I’m positive there’s a lid for this pot someplace. Sadly, it’s not me.

NiziU – Expensive…

They’ve actually leaned into releasing ballads, haven’t they? This type of tune has very restricted attraction to me.

Novelbright – Caravan

Ah, the Celtic influences that are inclined to pop up in J-rock songs like this. That is good, if a bit by-product.

OCTPATH – Steppin’!!!

I just like the power of this. I want the refrain was stronger.

The Proper Mild – Lights On! (tune of the week!)

I don’t know who these guys are however that is the catchiest J-pop tune I’ve heard all week for positive. I actually just like the melodies.

Tatsuya Kitani – Kasuka na Hana (ft. BABYMETAL)

It’s really good to listen to BABYMETAL on a softer observe.

Tyrkouaz – CHAKRA

This has a heaviness that’s fairly interesting.

Wild Blue – You

A plonky mid-tempo. These are a dime a dozen. Good vocals as regular, although.

&TEAM – Sakura-iro Yell

I assume that is only a pre-release earlier than we hear the precise single subsequent month since these kind of stripped-back ballads aren’t usually what &TEAM promotes. It’s fairly, however I’m simply not a lot of a ballad individual.
