Watch: Jung Woo Refuses To Stop Regardless of Repeated Appearing Audition Rejections In New Movie Teaser
Upcoming movie “Jjanggu” (literal title) has unveiled its first teaser!
“Jjanggu” follows Jjanggu (Jung Woo), an audition prodigy who, regardless of repeated setbacks and frustrations, retains going and rises once more, pushed by one easy dream: to turn into an actor.
Jung Woo performs aspiring actor Jjanggu, portraying the daring braveness of a Seoul resident who by no means provides up on his dream. The character returns to the display screen following Jung Woo’s hit 2009 movie “Want,” and his struggle to outlive within the coronary heart of the town is certain to ring a bell with many.
The teaser opens with Jjanggu turning his head at somebody’s name. It then exhibits the grind of audition after audition, highlighting the actual disappointment of his “99th audition rejection,” and paints an image of Jjanggu standing at life’s edge. However he doesn’t quit. He will get again on stage, practices, and tries once more.
Added to that is Jjanggu’s love at first sight for Min Hee (Krystal), teasing the story that may unfold between them.
On the finish of the teaser, throughout an audition, director Jang Dangle Jun asks, “Mr. Kim Jung Kook, why do you act?” As Jjanggu stares straight forward with a decided look, his voice is heard saying, “I made a promise.” The quick query and quiet second construct anticipation concerning the alternative he’ll make and the stage he’ll face.

“Jjanggu” is ready to hit theaters nationwide in South Korea on April 22.
