Scar Lip confronted backlash for twerking within the music video for her new single “She’s Sizzling.” The hardcore rapper responded to followers who believed she was succumbing to business strain to take a “intercourse sells” strategy.

“I do know a number of days in the past y’all noticed me shaking my booty on the web,” she informed followers. “I wanna say I apologize to all y’all and anyone I offended. I didn’t imply to. Now, I do know all people’s like, ‘No, we don’t need you doing that’ … I perceive that, proper? I’m not simply out right here simply wilding.”

She continued, “Let me inform y’all one factor — nobody is forcing me to do something. [I] promise that. I provide you with this stuff in my head, these loopy concepts.”

Scar Lip assured followers she wasn’t abandoning her roots. She requested her supporters to be extra accepting of her attempting new issues as an artist.

“I need you guys to develop with me,” she stated. “Don’t put me in a field. I’m at all times gon’ give y’all that avenue s###. I imply, I’m the perfect to do it, proper? [Laughs] And everyone knows that. So, don’t ever fear about that. I’ma at all times give y’all what’s wanted. I’ma at all times feed the streets as a result of the streets are hungry. Scar Lip insisted “She’s Sizzling” was her thought. She needed to create a tune with a “feel-good summer time vibe” and thanked her group for embracing her artistic selections.
